Full name: Yoshiki Hayashi

Role: Drums, piano

Birth date: 20 November, 1965

About:

When Yoshiki was just 8 years old, he was introduced to rock music after only knowing classical music, his father took him to a KISS concert. He'd already known Toshi for a few years before that, but they bonded over having the same interests eventually deciding to form a band together called "Noise" when they were both 11 (1976/1977.) A year later, the band's name was changed to "Dynamite." In 1979, Dynamite disbanded. Then in 1982, Yoshiki and Toshi formed another band, which they called "X" while they were trying to decide on a name (X=mystery) ... but the name stuck. In 1985 when recording their first demo album, Vanishing Vision, X's lineup was: Toshi (Vocals) Yoshiki (Drums) Hikaru (Bass) Jun (Guitar) Hikaru quit and TAIJI joined as bassist in 1985, but left quite quickly. X needed a guitarist for one song, so Yoshiki invited one of X's roadies, Pata, to help them record it, Pata did so and didn't become an official member. A year and a half later, TAIJI rejoined and X had a new guitarist named hide, but X needed one more guitarist. After being asked many times, Pata agreed to join for unknown reasons. Giving X their most recognisable lineup. The year afterwards, X had scheduled 2 concerts for 2 days (one day after the other) But after the first concert, the second had to be cancelled due to Yoshiki having a neurovascular injury (cause unknown)

Full name: Taiji Sawada

Role: ex. bass

Birth date: 12 July, 1966

About:

When Taiji was 8, he learned to play acoustic guitar from his friends at school, presumably to deal with the stress for his parent's divorce. At age 16, in 1982, Taiji stopped attending high school, dropped out, and ran away from home to form his first band, called "Trash." In 1985, Taiji joined "Dementia" under the stage name "Ray." He didn't stay for very long, and was soon in-and-out of many bands, such as: PROWLER, FATIMA, X, and DEAD WIRE. In 1986 however, he joined X to stay for nearly 6 years. Taiji was married in 1989, and had 2 children in this marriage; a son and a daughter. In 1992, Taiji was fired from X for unspecified reasons, and was invited by Akira Takasaki to join LOUDNESS. He recorded one album with them in his time there, but soon left after nearly a year and formed a band called D.T.R (Dirty Trashroad.) In 1995, DTR had to go on hiatus as Taiji was divorced from his wife and then kicked out from his house, leaving him homeless and on the streets... Until 1997, his mother bought him an apartment out of pity. It's not stated what Taiji is doing now.

Other:

- When Taiji was 3 years old, he cut off the first joint of his finger after shoving it into a machine at a factory his parents worked at.

- When Taiji was 8 years old, his sister Masayo Sawada was born. Masayo goes under the name "Sister Mayo" and is a relatively popular vocalist.
